Description

Having access to reliable internet is crucial for learning enviroments. During my term as House Manager at Wichita State University Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, I redesigned the previous, and failing network infrastructure. This was done by repunching ethernet drops, upgrading to a POE Switch, and installing 10 access points throughout the premise.

Web Dashboard was a weekend project of mine to display useful information as a dashboard. This included what song was playing on spotify, the current address, and the current weather.

Description

Another weekend project of mine was to repurpose an old desktop of mine into a Windows Server. I deployed MS SQL Server, IIS Server, and a DNS Server to this Windows PC. I eventually hosted the Web Dashboard on my local network with this IIS Server.
